We offer boarding for cats and dogs at Valley Veterinary Hospital on a reservation basis.  Boarding your pet with us will give you peace of mind, as our nurses and doctors are "in-house" if your companion has any medical concerns while you are away.  We can administer oral medication, insulin injections, and other treatment that other boarding facilities may not be able to provide.  Our 3 doctors rotate hospital duty on weekends and holidays in case an emergency arises.  Our animal care takers and licensed veterinary nurses walk dogs three times daily.  Pets are provided fresh food and water, and their living space kept clean.  We provide an excellent diet while your pet stays with us, or you can bring in their food from home.

We have 6 indoor canine runs that can each comfortably accommodate up to 2 large dogs.  Our kennel sizes vary and can house up to 2 small dogs so that "buddies" can stay together if desired.  Outdoors we have 3 cement floored, covered dog runs where our canine boarders can enjoy fresh air on nice days while our staff is at the hospital.

With separate cat and dog rooms, our feline friends can't hear even the most exuberant of dogs!  In our 7 kennel cat ward we often take turns to let our feline friends explore outside their kennel for more exercise.  Kennel sizes vary, and 2 cats can comfortably stay in the same kennel, or have their own.

When you call for your boarding reservation the receptionist will verify vaccination status and set up a brief appointment for the time of your arrival.  At that time the veterinary nurse will help you complete our boarding form (you can download ahead of time, go under our printable forms heading) and do a quick check for any obvious health concerns.  We can also schedule other procedures (dental cleaning, toenail trims, etc) while your pet is staying with us.

Call early for your boarding reservation, weekends and holidays can fill up.
